St. Louis Construction Industry Honors
Robert P. Elsperman P.E. For Services
As PRIDE Management Co-Chair
ST. LOUIS – Robert P. Elsperman P.E. has been honored by the St. Louis construction industry for his service as PRIDE management co-chair. Elsperman recently completed five years of volunteer service as PRIDE co-chairman.
Since 1998, Elsperman has helped guide the venerable PRIDE labor-management organization along with Joseph W. Rinke, PRIDE owner co-chairman, representing buyers of construction services, and Gerald T. Feldhaus, labor co-chairman, representing the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, AFL-CIO.
“We appreciate your leadership, guidance and wisdom,” said Joe Rinke in presenting a plaque to Elsperman honoring his service. The award from PRIDE was “In gratitude for your outstanding commitment, leadership and service to PRIDE.”
“The work isn’t done. It’s up to everyone to carry it forward,” said Elsperman, noting PRIDE’s on-going mission to promote teamwork in the construction industry and ensure St. Louis is the best place to build.
Scott Wilson has been named the new management co-chairman of PRIDE.
PRIDE, founded in 1972, is an acronym for Productivity and Responsibility Increase Development & Employment. For more than 30 years, PRIDE has worked to maintain harmony and build cooperation among St. Louis area AFL-CIO construction craft workers, contractors, construction buyers, architects, engineers and suppliers.
